Vegetable Beef Soup


Makes 6 servings.


1 pound lean ground beef
1/4 cup chopped onion
4 cups water
2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
1 can (15 ounces) Hunts diced tomatoes in sauce
1 6-ounce can tomato sauce
1 (10 ounces) package frozen mixed vegetables
1/2 cup uncooked small pasta (orzo or acine de pepe)
Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Brown beef and onion in large saucepan or Dutch oven. Drain.
  2. Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
  3. Simmer, covered, 10 minutes until vegetables are tender.
