Bbq Sauce


Yield: 2 1/3 cups


2 Tablespoons salad oil
1/4 cup chopped onion
15 ounce can tomato sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup chopped dill pickles


  1. In a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot oil, cook onion until tender. Stir in remaining ingredients. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low.
  2. Simmer 5 minutes to blend flavors. Use to baste chicken, beef or spareribs during grilling or broiling.
