Cheese Krispies


Great for cocktail parties or drop-in guests.


1/2 lb. butter, room temperature
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 c. flour
2 c. Rice Krispies cereal


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together butter and cheese. Add salt and cayenne. Blend in flour and Rice Krispies. Form into walnut-sized balls and put on ungreased baking sheet.
  2. Dip fork in water and flatten each ball. Refrigerate until chilled. Bake 10-12 minutes, do not brown.
