Danish Roast Chicken


Serves 4


1 plump chicken
3 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon ground red paprika
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 bunch parsley
1 tablespoon butter


  1. Preheat oven to 375F. Rub the chicken with oil and sprinkle with
  2. paprika, salt, and pepper. Arrange chicken ona roasting pan. Stuff the parsley inside the cavity wtih the butter. Reduce oven temperature to 350F and roast chicken for 1 hour and 30 minutes, basting every 20 minutes.
  3. Cut into four parts and serve hot.
