Hawaiian Cookies
Serving Size: 48
1/2 cup butter
1 3 ounce package cream cheese
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 8 1/2 ounce can crushed pineapple -- well drained
1/2 cup Maraschino cherries -- chopped and well drained
1/2 cup nuts -- chopped
- Blend together butter, cream cheese and vanilla; add sugar and mix well.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually add sifted dry ingredients; mix thoroughly. Stir in pineapple, cherries and nuts.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie pans. Bake at 350F, 15 minutes.
