Herbed Green Beans
Serves 4 to 6.
1 pound fresh green beans, cut into 1-inch lengths
2 to 3 Tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon rosemary
- Cook beans, covered, in small amount of boiling salted water until almost tender, about 10 minutes; drain. Return to saucepan, add remaining ingredients and stir to blend.
- Cover and cook approximately 10 minutes longer or until beans are
