Parmesan Biscuits
2 ounces salted butter
2 ounces plain flour
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
2 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
- Cream butter. Season the flour with cayenne and black pepper and work in the butter with the cheese knead until smooth and chill for about 30 minutes or until stiffened.
- Roll out onto a floured board to 5mm thickness. Cut into small rounds or squares and place on a greased baking tray and flatten into biscuits.
- Prick well with a fork. Bake in 350 oven for 10 minutes.
- Cool on a wire rack.
