Pizza Sauce
When making pizza I love to use my homemade pizza sauce. Using
tomato's from a can I always have about half of them left, so I make a little more sauce (usually 2 cans of tomato's) and put it in the freezer.
2 cans of peeled tomatoes
olive oil
salt
pepper
granulated garlic
a good handful of basil
- Make a big cut on one side of the tomatoes and squeeze them to get rid of most of the liquid inside of them. Put the tomatoes in a blender and add olive oil salt pepper and garlic. Mix on high setting for 1 minute.
- Chop the basil leaves with a knife (they won't be cut by the
- blender if added to the tomatoes because they get too wet) and add to the tomatoes and mix for a few seconds. Add some more
- salt/pepper/garlic as needed.
