Queso Taco Casserole With Corn


GARNISH WITH CHOPPED TOMATOES, SLICED GREEN ONIONS AND SOUR CREAM.


1 pound ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 bottle 8 oz taco sauce
3/4 cup water
4 oz can diced green chilies
12 count pkg corn taco shells, broken
1 oz pkg taco seasoning
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


  1. HEAT OVEN TO 375F. Grease baking dish.
  2. Cook beef and onion in skillet until beef is browned. Drain. Stir in taco sauce, water, chilies, and seasoning mix, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cook 4 min.
  3. Layer half of broken shells on bottom of baking dish. Cover with half of meat mixture, sprinkle with 1 cup cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  4. Bake 25 min. or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
